New York Delft

Dang I love this New York inspired adaption of traditional Dutch Delft by lovegrove & repucci. Each place setting is made of fine porcelain and has five pieces; a dinner plate, side plate, soup bowl, cup and saucer. Check it.

Dan Banks Band Artwork

Sunday, July 12th, 2009

I was asked to create an album artwork for 5 piece blues and roots act Dan Banks Band. Instead of going down the ’sunshine, rainbows and trees’ route I opted for a more weathered, vintage effect. Seeing as though I was starting from scratch I created them a set of logos as well - a full typographic band name and an initials logo. The headstock used in the logo illustrations is the actual headstock of Dan Banks’ guitar. This is how it all turned out. Tune into their tunes here.

This is the awesome new invention offered by the freaky-cool design gadget company, Suck UK. Powered with UV light you can write, stencil and tag that puppy up with your new night painting spray can! Not quite sure how it works at the moment, but I’ll have to check it out and let you know. Hit this up if you want to see for yourself.
