For such a decent price tag, these puppies really bring it. Introducing the Sony MDR-BX500. I have had so many brands of over-ear headphones now it’s hard to count. I ripped these out of the package, popped them on and gave them my 30-minute super bass test: Flying Lotus, Tipper, Plump Djs, Diplo and Timberland to Kings Of Leon, Tool, Ramstein and a touch of Saosin. Test passed. Brilliant bass. Perhaps even more satisfying is the fact that when you put them on, these babies feel like cream puffs on your lobes. So soft and cushy like a grandma boob hug. For me, the cushioning on headphones (not grandma boobs) means a massive deal as I’m often donning them 10 hours straight, so to have cushion is a terrific plus - well really, a must. Check em out now.

Ah ha! What a brilliant and super sneaky idea these are! If you are like me and the thought of putting your precious lunch in the office fridge is like sending it down a massive black hole into a pit of squabbling deformed rats, then this might be the perfect solution for you!
Pack your self up with a few at the Lost At E Minor store.

This is just awesome. I will watch and laugh with my raisin toast and coffee every morning as this little man gets pecked to pieces by the beautiful local bird life. Muah ha ha ha.

DUUUDE! The best fill of gut spilling, flesh ripping, head kicking (just like a football actually) party tricks yet. Norwegian horror ‘Dead Snow’ (Dod Sno), directed by Tommy Wirkola, is one of the coolest zombie creations of 2009 to date. It’s actually got a better plot than most (well, at least it has one - and I still think ‘Dead Set’ is the winner of best plot by far) which is served up ice cold with a twist of Nazi. But really, who cares too much about deep storylines and developed characters for this kind of brew anyhoo? I personally wanted the fat guy to be the first to go because he was such a knob (although, he did don a nice braindead tee).
If you haven’t seen it yet, then do - it’s a feast. I was glued every moment. I particularly liked the effects of the white snow and white faces contrasting against all that bright red. Never imagined intestines to be that elastic either. Watch it in complete darkness if you dare.

I finally found a recipe for those mouthwatering pillows of ginger joy - also known as Honey Jumbles (Arnott’s, 1906). These will do just splendidly as a tasty morsel to accompany my morning cup o’ joe. Above left is a vintage ad for the Scotch Finger - another Arnott’s product. I just put it there because I think it’s great advertising - tag line: “sharing a good idea”. But fear not, jumbles in the jungle to the right, all pretty dressed in pink and white. Hit up this spot for more awesome cooking recipes and tips.
Go on, get your apron on.
